Goal and Other KaiOS Updates

Updated Goal for KaiOS this week. Added an aggregate leader board for fun. Instead of a player name you play as your favorite country and try and score goals for that nation. I included the countries in the Euro 2024 and Copa America 2024 as well as all the countries where KaiOS phones are available.

Good bye Google analytics. For Taara.Games I updated most of the games to use my custom event analytics. A few more games to implement the analytics in and I'll be done with the updates. I should get those done this week.

Now I just need to make a dashboard for the events.

I Discovered Kirby then Changed Everything

As I dwell deeper into the indie web I discover new things all the time. What I found this time had me rewrite this entire web site from almost scratch.

Kirby (https://getkirby.com) describes itself as "...the CMS that adapts to you" and it's the best thing ever.

Eleventy is great and I enjoy using it. But now I can edit and add posts when I'm not on my laptop. Everything is better organized for me. No longer do I have to start a new post or game from a template consisting of multiple files. I can now publish with a just a tap.

I paused game development just to re-write this website using Kirby. I'm 99% done.

Some things like the RSS feed could still be broken. I'm missing some projects from the portfolio and the games section still needs tweaking.
